There are many kitchen layouts that work for families. Design and layout depend on many factors such as electrical placement for lighting and appliances. In this particular project we moved the refrigerator and removed their small pantry in order to open up the space and allow room for the cooktop and double oven. The pull-out spice rack cabinet and tray divider are directly to the right of the cooktop, allowing an ideal work space configuration. In this kitchen, everything is right where you need it to be. Now that’s smart design!
The appliances in this particular kitchen project are the stars. They are high-end, efficient, functional and beautiful. If the kitchen is the heart of the home, cooking and entertaining begin and end with the most important and used appliance in the room: the refrigerator. We’ve selected a Samsung 36 inch wide stainless steel 3-door french door refrigerator with plenty of storage. The design includes features like FamilyHub™(music, calendar and more!), large counter depth capacity and a premium external filtered water and ice dispenser. This powerhouse fridge offers high-efficiency LED lighting, gallon door bin, and fingerprint resistant finish, making it perfect for busy families. Technology continues to be at the forefront of modern kitchen designs, and here is no exception. This refrigerator is wi-fi enabled with power cool and power freeze, a door alarm and water filter indicator. This particular refrigerator even has a function that scans the contents to create a custom shopping list for you as well as alert you that your produce is about to go bad!
If you like to cook, a high-performing oven and range are critical to your success. For this renovation, we selected a top of the line stainless steel 36 inch wide, 6 burner rangetop by Wolf. This gorgeous wooden hood compliments the dual-stacked burners, and with the lower tier of the burner, home cooks can simmer and melt sauces, soups and marinades with ease! In a hurry? This kitchen renovation also includes a stainless steel 30 inch wide 1500 watt built in microwave oven, also by Wolf. This transitional microwave with tubular handle combines microwave, convection and broil technologies. With more cooking power than a traditional microwave, this appliance assures predictable delicious results. Bon appetit!
There are several notable features that simply must be highlighted. Front upper cabinets offer glass with lighting and 13 inch star metal glass pendant lights float above the expansive island. Lighting placement is critical in kitchen layouts, and cabinets with lighting offer better visibility and enhanced ambience. A corner lazy susan allows our homeowners to minimize clutter and easily access cooking supplies and materials. Additionally, one cabinet contains a waste basket, so garbage is out of sight (and out of smell). Here, everything has its proper place.
The combination of these Polar Bertch cabinets in Satin Sheen and Cambria countertops from the Brittanicca luxury series is simply stunning. The gorgeous quartz countertops offer a creamy marbled background of neutral white that provide the perfect balance to the spruce colored center island. The backsplash is composed of white, matte 2×9 tiles from the Wow Crafted collection. They add a touch of urban flair to this classic kitchen design. The homeowners were thrilled with the primary workstation in this space: the sink. This Kohler undermount single bowl sink with a Bellera faucet in chrome is clean and contemporary with a sophisticated appearance. It’s the perfect choice for any kitchen. We kept the existing hardwood floors, which were not only in great shape but suited the overall kitchen design nicely. It is always essential to be sure the floors are well-protected during construction to avoid any damage. Professionals will ensure this is done correctly.
