This Aurora family craved more space for a functional eat-in kitchen with plenty of storage. In order to achieve this we completely changed the footprint. We knocked down the wall that separated the kitchen from the dining area in order to create more kitchen square footage. Many families are opting to eliminate a formal dining room altogether in favor of a larger kitchen with bigger islands. We’re less formal today than in years past, and this is certainly a design that is gaining popularity among homeowners.
